A sneak preview at the latest range from the innovative supplier of outdoor photography accessories

In a unique and exclusive preview, Stealth Gear has opened the doors to its unique development lab to reveal a series of photography accessories and products still in production. With a groundbreaking interactive approach, the outdoor photography clothing company is currently developing a number of top-of-the-range outdoor photography accessories and has added a dedicated section to its web site to track progress. Encouraging feedback from professional photographers, the development lab offers web site visitors unprecedented behind the scenes access to updates on the manufacturing and development processes.

Usually reserved for the eyes of company boffins only, the development lab is already proving to be a popular new addition to the Stealth Gear site, showcasing the Staffordshire-based firm’s R and D arm and work in the field. Taking a unique approach to wildlife photography clothing design, the company has used its lab to connect with both amateur and professional photographers and solicit feedback of new designs.

Included in the development lab currently is the photographer’s smock jacket, set to take pride of place amidst the company’s Extreme range of clothing. Currently at the development stage, recommendations and input from users have meant the recent inclusion of innovative features such as the removable waterproof padded seat for use when working in different kinds of terrain. A large pocket at the front of the smock cushions the chest, preventing pain when the camera repeatedly bounces off the same area. There is also a large pocket with padding to carry both the camera and lens.

Featuring details of what’s still to come, the company has also published exclusive prototype images of the Stealth Gear 3 in 1 Photographers Jacket Vest Seat. Demonstrating the company’s positive connectivity with customers, feedback for the photography vest has led to development of a detachable padded waterproof seat. The intricate design process is evident in new features, including the floating lens pockets. Created specifically to allow backpack waist straps to be tucked away, this unique addition will provide access to the main lens pockets when carrying a backpack. The perfect solution to a quick lenses change when mobile.
