Award winning photographer Neil McIntyre is based near Aviemore in the heart of The Cairngorms National Park where he runs is photography tours and photo library from, he has lived in his area for the past 30 years.
Specializing in Scottish wildlife and landscapes Neil devotes a large amount of time to his local area and wildlife such is the abundance of opportunities the area offers. Frequent trips to the West Highlands is another favourite. Neil's work appears in a wide range of magazines and books, amongst others BBC Wildlife and The Field , organizations like Scottish Natural Heritage and the Cairngorms National Park are regular clients. His book on Red Deer published by Colin Baxter is being reprinted and will again be available from June 07.
Neil is also a past winner and has had numerous highly commended pictures in the Wildlife Photographer of the Year Awards. Currently working on a new book venture which is still in the early stages.

After the snowiest and coldest winter for decades we have just experienced the value of good outdoor gear has never been so invaluable, so the timing of the Stealth gear Extreme Jacket Vest could not have been more timely for me. Have not felt the cold on any day when wearing them and belief me it has been cold ( - 19). It is not only the warmth that has impressed me, many new additions to the Extreme Jacket-vest takes it to another level. Features that impress me particularly are the pads (which can be removed) on elbows and shoulders. For stalking purposes when crawling or lying low to take pictures the elbow pads cushion the elbows perfectly making an uncomfortable situation a lot less so

Being based largely in the Scottish Highlands for my photography and being out in all sorts of weather conditions and often in remote and rugged locations, having the right outdoor clothing is just as important as photography equipment in achieving my pictures. There is no shortage of good gear these days,however none is made so specifically for the outdoor photographer as the stealth-gear suit.
