John Campbell and Terry Holmes together operate a wildlife guiding and consultancy business Shetland Otters

Shetland Otters in conjunction with some of the best wildlife cameramen in the world have been responsible for obtaining Otter footage on over 20 major British and International wildlife films. Notably "Otters the truth (with Sir David Attenborough) Springwatch and Nature of Britain we  have recently completed filming work with Simon King on his forthcoming series Simon King's Shetland Diaries. 
Shetland Otters provides consultancy / environmental impact surveying services to some of the UK largest companies and Government Agencies B.P, Total Oil, British Telecom, Amec, Scottish & Southern Energy and Scottish Natural Heritage.

We also offer a personalised guiding service to the public so they too can observe otters in the wild. (this is the part of the job we like the best) Helping someone to see a wild otter for the first time, something they may have been trying to achieve for years is a great privilege and one we enjoy immensely.

Working as I do in Shetland it is imperative that I have good quality outdoor clothing that is capable of withstanding the worst and best of Shetland's weather. It has to be functional and easy to wear.
