We also offer a personalised guiding service to the public so they too can observe otters in the wild. (this is the part of the job I like the best) Helping someone to see a wild otter for the first time, something they may have been trying to achieve for years is a great privilege and one I enjoy immensely.

Working as I do in Shetland it is imperative that I have good quality outdoor clothing that is capable of withstanding the worst of Shetland's weather. It has to be functional and easy to wear.
